Natural boundary between Umbria and Marches, Monte Cucco (Alt: 1566m) offers many possibilities to the tourist:
	La Forra de Rio Freddo, an enormous rock ravine, approximately 4 km long with cliffs hundreds of meters high complete with waterfalls; the majestic and mysterious system of caves (one of the biggest in Europe), a real treat for spelunkers, is over 25 km. long and 922 m. deep; the beautiful meadows and the dense beech forests, with a network of marked trails that stretch for kilometers, can either be hiked using available maps or by hiring a trail guide.
